I'm a journalist and documentary filmmaker based in New York City. Before turning to journalism, I spent five years at an international strategic advisory firm in Washington DC — work that brought me into contact with policy issues and parts of the world I would later return to as a reporter. I hold an MA from Columbia Journalism School, where my Master's Thesis was awarded the Morton Mintz Prize for Comparative International Journalism.

In 2025, I co-founded Next Thing Media, a social-impact storytelling studio that works with nonprofits, educators, artists, and social entrepreneurs to help them share their work with clarity and purpose. Alongside that work, I've spent more than a decade as a professional photographer across a wide range of subjects, from newspaper features and documentary projects to commercial and sports photography.
